Pharmanext was founded in 2019 by two experienced professionals with decades of leadership experience in sales and marketing at leading multinational pharmaceutical companies, including Teva, Perrigo, and Reckitt. The company was established with a shared vision: to provide the Hungarian market with a distribution partner that combines a strong commercial infrastructure, an extensive market network, and the agility needed to unlock new growth opportunities.

Pharmanext operates as a complete commercial infrastructure for brands entering or expanding in Hungary. Holding a pharmaceutical wholesale licence, the company is authorised to distribute both prescription (Rx) and OTC products, and maintains wholesale agreements with all major Hungarian distributors — ensuring full and continuous coverage of the pharmacy market.

On the ground, Pharmanext’s in-house KAM and field sales team maintains active relationships across the full pharmacy landscape: independent pharmacies, buying groups, and all major chains. The company’s operational backbone extends to quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance — the foundations that make compliant, sustainable distribution possible.

Beyond the pharmacy channel, Pharmanext has an established presence in mass market retail: drugstores, hypermarkets, and discount chains. Where a brand needs to be, Pharmanext already has a seat at the table.

Category performance is monitored continuously using IQVIA and scan data, ensuring that commercial decisions are grounded in real market intelligence rather than intuition. And through a partnership with Publicis Groupe, Pharmanext delivers efficient, professional marketing communications across television and digital — reach and frequency that would otherwise require a dedicated local marketing function to build from scratch.
